Inspection and testing of ammunition
At our Miesau site, qualified ammunition technology personnel from NOLTE Services GmbH (fireworkers and material inspectors) carry out non-destructive testing of ammunition. Damaged ammunition is examined, sorted out and, if necessary, delaborated.
Storage of ammunition
One of the core competencies of ESSING Sprengtechnik GmbH is the proper and professional storage of ammunition in special and highly secured ammunition bunkers. We guarantee our clients storage in accordance with the PSSM standard = Physical Security & Stockpile Management, which means that we store ammunition in such a way as to prevent damage to people and technology.
Transportation of ammunition
The fleet of our ESSING Sprengtechnik GmbH includes various vehicles with a payload of up to 21 tons. All vehicles have EX/II or EX/III approval and are used throughout Germany and Europe.
Disposal of ammunition
We dispose of old ammunition in such a way that a maximum of the valuable materials it contains are recycled. We dispose of all other components in an environmentally friendly manner using modern thermal processes.
